ZCater just wrapped up catering for over 24,000 at the US Open of Surfing from July 31st through August 8th.
We would like to congratulate all the dedicated athletes that competed. We sure had a blast.
We began each day with a fresh breath of ocean breeze, and the crashing of the waves before the sun had even risen. By breakfast, the beach was overflowing with thousands of guests, athletes, and media. ZCater provided breakfast lunch and snack for athletes such as Kelly Slater and Luke Davis to Performers like Weezer and Hot Hot Heat and all of the security, crew, and sponsors.
9 Days and 24,000 meals later we were forced to say goodbye to our kitchen on the beach and all of the new friends we made during the event. Each day was a challenge and a success. The entire team here at ZCater is proud and honored to have been chosen for this prestigious event.

San Marcos is a suburb of San Diego in the North County section of San Diego County, California. As of 2010, the city had a total population of 84,391. Outside the San Diego region, it is best known as the home of California State University, San Marcos. The city is bordered by Escondido to the east, Encinitas to the Southwest, Carlsbad to the west, and Vista to the northwest.
