Gary Khaz is a self taught Chef and has been involved in restaurants and catering for over 27 years. In 1981 he purchased P.J. Deli & Grill in an affluent neighborhood of Manhattan, New York on 70th and 3rd Street. Within three years he was known as the caterer for "any event" in New York City - catering to `Wall Street, Socialites, City Officials and Fortune 500 companies'. The restaurant became a well-known hot spot for celebrities and businessmen and women who enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.
In 1984, at the age of 26, he purchased another restaurant in the Wall Street area called "On Rye". It was also hugely successful.
Even with all this, Gary decided to try some place new so he moved west, with his family, to bring his East Coast `mentality and style' to Southern California. In 1991, he opened Manhattan Deli Bar & Grill which was ranked the number one deli/restaurant in Orange County by the Orange County Register. Within five years he expanded his restaurant to include outside catering.
ZCater, his corporate brand, and Art of the Party, his social brand, have become one of the leading catering operations in Orange County serving to countless repeat clients such as Microsoft, Mercedes Benz, The Irvine Company, BMW, Deloitte, Fluor, and Allergan Pharmaceuticals to name a few.

Villa Park history:
Villa Park is a city in northern Orange County, California near Orange and Anaheim Hills that incorporated in 1962. It had a population of 5,999 in the 2000 census, achieving the status of the smallest city in Orange County by population (La Palma is Orange County's smallest city in area). Villa Park includes about 2,000 homes and the land is nearly 99% built out. The city is zoned for single-family residences; most house occupy half-acre lots. There is one small shopping center that includes a Ralph's grocery store, some banks, a pharmacy with a postal substation, a variety of stores and offices, City Hall and community room, and a branch of the Orange County Public Library. Three restaurants, including Rockwell's Cafe & Bakery, are located in the shopping center. Public elementary, middle, and high schools are operated by the Orange Unified School District.
There are no public parks within the city limits. Many homes have pools or tennis courts, or both. Villa Park has winding streets and it is known for having few sidewalks and no street lights. There are many trees and flowers planted that contribute to a rural, green ambience. Villa Park is an enclave within the city of Orange. Villa Park's geography is due largely to its unwillingness to annex land beyond Santiago Creek, to the east. The city of Orange annexed these lands around and beyond Villa Park.
Villa Park is located at 33°48′58″N 117°48′40″W / 33.81611°N 117.81111°W / 33.81611; -117.81111 (33.816183, -117.811106).
